The degree of commutativity of wreath products with infinite cyclic top group [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Mathematics, 2022
The degree of commutativity of a finite group is the probability that two uniformly and randomly chosen elements commute. This notion extends naturally to finitely generated groups G: the degree of commutativity $${{\,\textrm{dc}\,}}_S(G)$$

Rational growth and degree of commutativity of graph products [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2017
Let G be an infinite group and let X be a finite generating set for G such that the growth series of G with respect to X is a rational function; in this case G is said to have rational growth with respect to X. In this paper a result on sizes of spheres (

FINITENESS OF COMMUTABLE MAPS OF BOUNDED DEGREE [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2015
In this paper, we study the relation between two dynamical systems (V,f) and (V,g) with f. g = g . f. As an application, we show that an endomorphism (respectively a polynomial map with Zariski dense, of bounded Pre(f) has only finitely many endomorphisms (respectively polynomial maps) of bounded degree which are commutable with f.

Relative Commutativity Degree of Nonabelian Metabelian Groups of Order 32

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021
A metabelian group is a group whose commutator subgroup is abelian. Similarly, a group G is metabelian if and only if there exists an abelian normal subgroup, A, such that the quotient group, G / A , is abelian.

The Order Product Prime Probability and Commutativity Degree for Some Finite Groups

open access: yesMalaysian journal of mathematical sciences, 2022
Statistical approach often provides techniques in exploring more on the algebraic properties of finite groups. In this paper, two new group probabilities are defined in which the group elements having certain common characteristics are considered.

The exact bounds for the degree of commutativity of a p-group of maximal class, I

open access: yes, 2002
Let G be a p -group of maximal class. Since the pioneer work of Blackburn in 1958 (cf. [N. Blackburn, Acta Math. 100 (1958) 45–92]), several authors have obtained information about the degree of commutativity c of  G , in order to precise which the ...

On the Commutativity Degree of Finite Groups of Order via Degree Equation

open access: yesAfrican journal of mathematics and statistics studies
Commutativity degree is a numerical derivation that carries a lot of information about the structure of finite groups. It measures the extent to which two randomly selected non-identity elements of a group commute.

Updatable Closed‐Form Evaluation of Arbitrarily Complex Multiport Network Connections

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The inverse design of electrically large wave devices often uses reduced‐order multiport models with discrete optimization, requiring many evaluations of complex interconnections between subsystems that differ only in a few blocks. This paper introduces a closed‐form framework enabling efficient Woodbury low‐rank updates of related, previous ...
