Limit Theorems for Degree of Coverage and Lifetime in Large Sensor Networks
IEEE INFOCOM 2008 - The 27th Conference on Computer Communications, 2008In this paper, we investigate the fundamental limits of sensor network lifetime that any algorithm can achieve. In our settings, n nodes are deployed as a Poisson point process with density lambda in a region of size S and each sensor node can cover a unit-area disk.

A new multi-beam antenna for 360 degree coverage
1978 Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2005An effective reflector antenna system has been conceptually designed to generate and scan multiple shaped beams in azimuthal direction by 360 degrees. The antenna is simple in geometry and has wideband characteristics. It is capable of antijaming protection through digital null steering.

Multifocal Primary Prostate Cancer Exhibits High Degree of Genomic Heterogeneity.
European Urology, 2019BACKGROUND Most primary prostate cancers are multifocal with individual tumors harboring different aggressiveness; however, the genomic heterogeneity among these tumors is poorly understood.

Factors Associated with Different Degrees of Health Insurance Coverage
Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal, 2001This study used data from the 1996 National Health Interview Survey to identify families that have full health insurance coverage, have partial coverage, and are uninsured. It examined the socioeconomic and demographic variables that influenced the probability of being in a particular group.

3D MANETs: Link Probability, Node Degree, Network Coverage and applications
2011 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2011Underwater Sensor Networks (UWSNs) and Aeronautical Ad Hoc Networks (AANETs) are Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) that need to consider the 3D nature of the network. UWSN presents the opportunity for many applications such as coast surveillance, and 4D monitoring (space and time) for ocean and biology studies.

Spatial and temporal effects of drought on Chinese vegetation under different coverage levels.
Science of the Total Environment, 2020Land surface vegetation dynamics are strongly affected by drought. Thus, understanding the responses of vegetation to drought can inform measures to increase biome stability. In this study, the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and the Palmer

Desorption energy distribution and the degree of surface coverage
Vacuum, 1988Abstract A method is introduced to assess the coverage influence in desorption energy distribution based on the Langmuir adsorption model. By changing the basic pressure in the desorption chamber, coverage-dependent desorption spectra are calculated and compared to experimental data.
