In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Numerical Modelling of the Ice Throw from Wind Turbines
Ice throw is a significant risk factor in the vicinity of wind turbines located in cold climate areas. We present a method to estimate the ice chunk trajectories.

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Grammar and Aesthetic Mechanismus. From Wittgenstein’s Tractatus to the Lectures on Aesthetics
This paper takes distances from two influential images of Wittgenstein's philosophy: the image of a primarily ethical philosopher defended by the so-called «resolute» interpreters and that of an ascetically "analytical" philosopher transmitted by the ...

Novel piezoelectric crawling robot with multiple degrees of freedom
Traditional ultrasonic motors can usually produce either linear or rotational motion. Piezoelectrically driven structures with multiple degrees of freedom require two or more ultrasonic motors, and the manufacturing process is associated with some ...

Second law of thermodynamics for macroscopic mechanics coupled to thermodynamic degrees of freedom
Based only on classical Hamiltonian dynamics, we prove the maximum work principle in a system where macroscopic dynamical degrees of freedom are intrinsically coupled to microscopic degrees of freedom.

A spin group (SG)‐based mechanism is proposed to realize a single pair of Weyl points. PT‐symmetric nodal lines (NLs) persist under T‐breaking, protected by the combination of SG and P symmetry. When considering spin‐orbit coupling, the SG‐protected NL will split into Weyl points, which will also induce anomalous transport phenomena arising from ...

Dynamics of Diffeomorphism Degrees of Freedom at a Horizon
We define a set of boundary conditions that ensure the presence of a null hypersurface with the essential characteristics of a horizon, using the formalism of weakly isolated horizons as a guide.

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

Rating and design simulation of the recycled flow sheet
The mathematical model of a recycled flow sheet is studied. The number of degrees of freedom is determined, and different sets of the simulation task are considered.
