Covalent Organic Frameworks for Water Sorption: The Importance of Framework Physical Stability
This study explores the water‐vapor stability of 2D covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with varying pore sizes. Results reveal microporous COFs demonstrate superior stability compared to mesoporous ones, despite lower water uptake. Mesoporous keto‐enamine‐linked COFs show enhanced stability due to intralayer hydrogen bonds, confirmed by simulations and

A Guideline to Evaluate Sorbent Performance for Atmospheric Water Harvesting
Reporting guidelines for atmospheric water harvesting sorbents allow benchmarking between research groups across seven key performance indicators (KPIs). Beyond simple equilibrium values (such as capacity or maximum water uptake), these KPIs validate sensitivity, reversibility, regeneration conditions, chemical stability, kinetics, and water quality ...

A Versatile Setup for Determining Hydrogen and Oxygen Crossover of Electrolyzer Membranes and MEAs
Hydrogen and oxygen crossover in PEM electrolyzers affects safety, efficiency and gas purity. We present an experimental setup to quantify crossover through membranes and polymers. It allows in‐situ tests on full cells with MEAs and measures gas permeation in wet or dry ionomers and other polymers.

ABSTRACT Elite performance in Olympic winter sports depends on the interplay among the athlete, equipment, and the snow or ice. This naturally evolves with temperature, humidity, wind, preparation, and contact between the equipment and its surface. Together, these factors continuously rebalance the forces of gravity, aerodynamic drag, and friction ...
