Exploring the phylogenetic history of water striders (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Gerromorpha) using genome‐skimming

open access: yesSystematic Entomology, Volume 51, Issue 1, January‐March 2026.

Non‐monophyly was found for Gerrini, Metrobatini and Trepobatini. Additionally, we reaffirm the non‐monophyly of the genera Aquarius and Tenagogonus, both part of the Gerrinae.
