Ring resonator-based Tunable Optical Delay Line in LPCVD Waveguide Technology [PDF]
Optical circuits providing a time delay to signals modulated on optical carriers are considered important for optical communication systems and phased array antennas.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Vaccine Hesitancy in Childhood Immunization in the Malaysian Context
The increase in vaccine-preventable infections in young children in Malaysia during the previous decade has been concerning. This is related to vaccine reluctance, which puts herd immunity at risk.

Necessary and sufficient conditions are found for all oscillatory solutions of the equation (rn−1(t)(rn−2(t)(−−−(r2(t)(r1(t)y′(t)))−−−)))+a(t)h(y(g(t)))=b(t) to approach zero.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Baseline dependent differences in the perception of changes in visuomotor delay
IntroductionThe detection of, and adaptation to delayed visual movement feedback has been extensively studied. One important open question is whether the Weber-Fechner Laws hold in the domain of visuomotor delay; i.e., whether the perception of changes ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

NKCC1: A key regulator of glioblastoma progression
Glioblastoma (GBM) progression is driven by disrupted chloride cotransporter homeostasis. NKCC1 is highly expressed in stem‐like, astrocytic, and progenitor cells, correlating with earlier recurrence, while overall survival remains unaffected. NKCC1 serves as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target, linking chloride transporter imbalance ...
