A PVT resilient true‐time delay cell

open access: yesIET Circuits, Devices & Systems, 2023
Abstract A true‐time delay (TTD) cell in TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS technology for 1–5 GHz applications is presented. Process variations, ageing effects, field variations, and other non‐idealities have some impacts on the TTD cell's devices. One of the vulnerable specifications of TTD cells is their delay variation.

The Relationship Between Physical Activity and Left Ventricular Remodeling in Childhood Cancer Survivors Treated With Anthracyclines: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Anthracycline‐related cardiac remodeling precedes heart failure in childhood cancer survivors. The objectives of this study were to determine the relationships between patient‐specific factors, moderate‐to‐vigorous physical activity (MVPA), and cardiac remodeling.

Global Stability Analysis of a Latent HIV Model with Saturated Immunity, Dual General Incidence Rates and Multiple Time Delays

open access: yesMathematics
This paper formulates a latent HIV infection model with saturated immunity, two general infection rates (virus-to-cell and cell-to-cell transmission), and three time delays (infected cell activation delay, virus production delay, and immune response ...

Delay in primordial germ cell migration in adamts9 knockout zebrafish

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Adamts9 (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with a thrombospondin type 1 motif, member 9) is one of a few metalloproteinases structurally conserved from C. elegans to humans and is indispensable in germ cell migration in invertebrates.

Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Survival in Western Kenya: Reduction in Early Deaths and Treatment Abandonment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background An earlier study on children diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Kenya reported a low event‐free survival (EFS), excess treatment abandonment, and high induction mortality.

Misperception of Body Weight After Childhood Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Misperception of body weight can negatively impact the weight management efforts of childhood cancer survivors (CCSs). Both being overweight or underweight are associated with chronic health conditions commonly observed in CCS; therefore, accurate weight perception is critical for reducing long‐term health risks.

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.
