Delay management in delay‐tolerant networks

International Journal of Network Management, 2008
AbstractIn delay‐tolerant networks (DTN), nodes explore various opportunities to connect and communicate with each other. A series of encounters of different nodes will create such opportunities and spread a message among many nodes and eventually deliver to the designated destination. We study one common DTN scenario where the message exchanges happen

Delay Tolerant Network Protocols in a Railway Network

International Journal of Embedded and Real-Time Communication Systems, 2021
The paper is devoted to the analysis of the effectiveness of the DTN (delay tolerant network) system in a communication network on a railway line. Trains act as moving objects that are sending and receiving messages to/from an external network. Trains may also transmit telemetry collected during movement.
