Delegated Authenticated Authorization for Constrained Environments
2014 IEEE 22nd International Conference on Network Protocols, 2014Smart objects are small devices with limited system resources, typically made to fulfill a single simple task. By connecting smart objects and thus forming an Internet of Things, the devices can interact with each other and their users and support a new range of applications.

Blockchain-Based IoT-Cloud Authorization and Delegation
2018 IEEE International Conference on Smart Computing (SMARTCOMP), 2018In a Smart City scenario, the authors envisioned an IoT-Cloud framework for the management of boards and resources scattered over a geographic area. It can also become a tool to let device owners contribute freely to the infrastructure. In comparison to datacenter-oriented Cloud middleware, the administrator and the owner of the infrastructure are not ...

An Authorization Framework Based on Constrained Delegation
2004In this paper, we distinguish between authorization problems at management level and request level in open decentralized systems, using delegation for flexible and scalable authorization management. The delegation models in existing approaches are limited within one level or only provide basic delegation schemes, and have no effective control over the ...

A Classification of Delegation Schemes for Attribute Authority
2007Recently assertions have been explored as a generalisation of certificates within access control. Assertions are used to link arbitrary attributes (e.g. roles, security clearances) to arbitrary entities (e.g. users, resources). These attributes can then be used as identifiers in access control policies to refer to groups of users or resources.

Implementing Authorization Delegations Using Graph
2006Graph-based approach to access control models have been studied by researchers due to its visualization, flexible representation and precise semantics. In this paper, we present a detailed graph-based algorithm to evaluate authorization delegations and resolve conflicts based on the shorter weighted path-take-precedence method.
