Wearable Tailored Passive Radiative Cooling Textile for Flexible Electronic Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A scalable, additive‐free wearable tailored passive radiative cooling textile (WRCT) with hierarchically structured fibers delivers exceptional thermal management, combining >95% solar reflectance, 0.96 mid‐infrared emissivity, and ultralow thermal conductivity (0.041 W/m·K).

Pyramidal Democracy [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider a decentralized, multilayered representative democracy, where citizens participate in deliberative policy formation after self-organizing into a pyramidal hierarchy of small groups. Each group elects a delegate, who expresses the deliberative

Structurally Enhanced Colloidal Molecules via Carbene‐Mediated Covalent C─H Insertion Crosslinking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a nonspecific covalent crosslinking strategy to significantly enhance the structural stability of colloidal molecules (CMs) without compromising their inherent structural and physicochemical properties by rationally designing a diazo‐based crosslinker.

Menimbang Gagasan Negara Hukum (Deliberatif) di Indonesia*

open access: yesJurnal Konstitusi, 2016
In these recent years the idea of deliberative democracy appears as an alternative idea in the middle of discourse of democracy’s contest and configuration. Through its critics which are submitted into two dominant democratic traditions (also seeking to

The Politics of Democratizing Finance: A Radical View [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
How can finance be durably democratized? In the centers of financial power in both the United States and the United Kingdom, proposals now circulate to give workers and the public more say over how flows of credit are allocated.

Electrostatic Potential Complementarity for Thickness‐Tolerant Cathode Interlayers in High‐Efficiency Organic and Tandem Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two model molecules — trimesic acid (TMA) and phloroglucinol (PG) — with opposite central electrostatic potential (ESP) distributions are employed to elucidate how molecular electrostatic interactions regulate the cathode interlayer (CIL) PDINN. Electrostatic potential complementarity is revealed as the intrinsic origin of thickness sensitivity in CILs,

Deliberative Democracy and Illiteracy: Exploring a Theoretical Gap

open access: yesJournal of Deliberative Democracy, 2013
In this essay, I demonstrate that literacy is not necessary for participation in a deliberative democracy. First, I examine the literature on the subject and demonstrate how the necessity of literacy has either been assumed or left entirely unquestioned.

Optimization of SWCNT‐FET Biosensors by Aptamer Engineering and Toehold‐Mediated Strand Displacement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Aptamer‐based single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) field‐effect transistor (FET) biosensors are developed for label‐free, real‐time biomarker detection. Truncated DNA aptamers enhance sensitivity through improved conformational switching. A toehold‐mediated strand displacement (TMSD) strategy optimizes functionalization and simplifies fabrication. The

Participatory Deliberative Democracy for Peace in El Salvador

open access: yesJournal of Deliberative Democracy, 2019
Postconflict societies such as El Salvador, surpassing 25 years of relative peace since signing the 1992 Chapultepec Peace Accords, have employed many mechanisms to rebuild and establish lasting peace.
