The DELPHI pixels

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 1997
Abstract To improve tracking in the very forward direction for running at LEP200, the angular acceptance of the DELPHI Vertex detector has been extended from 45° to 11° with respect to the beam axis. Pixel detector crowns cover the region between 25° and 13°.

The DELPHI TPC

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, 1984
Abstract The central detector of the DELPHI (LEP) experiment will be a time projection chamber working at a pressure of one atmosphere in a 1.2 T magnetic field. We will describe the present conception of this detector and the prototype work which can change and improve the final design.

The Delphi technique

Nursing Standard, 1999
The Delphi survey technique has merit in both qualitative and quantitative research, but fewer researchers are using it. This article reviews the Delphi technique and its use in nursing, medical and allied health literature between 1981 and 1998. The strengths and weaknesses of the technique are discussed.

Imen-Delphi: A Delphi Variant Procedure for Emergence

Human Organization, 1997
Since its introduction in the early 1950s, the Delphi technique has experienced ever-increasing utilization, variants, praise, and criticism. The purpose of this article is to propose an evolutionary variant called Imen-Delphi for futures research. This article suggests that an Imen-Delphi procedure may be appropriate as a research technique to improve
