Multi-temporal DEM and land use analysis for determining gully formation
Soil erosion has become a serious concern for the Pescadero Watershed in San Mateo County. Since the late 19th century, extensive gully networks have formed due to human land use such as cattle grazing and agriculture.

Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

Oxygen‐releasing hydrogels are widely used to support cell survival in 3D cultures and to promote wound healing. However, incorporating catalase to convert H2O2 into O2 often generates additional oxygen bubbles, leading to material instability which rarely addressed.

Measuring the Hall Effect in Hysteretic Materials
The authors highlight common pitfalls in measuring the Hall effect: in hysteretic magnets, improper data processing can create signals that look exotic but are not real. This Perspective explains the origin of these artifacts and presents practical measurement strategies that help researchers identify reliable Hall responses in complex magnetic ...

DEM of Differences Analysis to Understanding Recent Channel Adjustments along the River Po

2016 through 2021 annual comparison to 2014 DEM.
2016 through 2021 comparisons with 2014 (considered year zero) as difference of DEMs (DoD) with elevation change ranging in scale from -1.5 m to 1.5 m along the blue to vermilion color gradient aligning with the hydrograph for the Cosumnes River from ...

Why Is the Mechanism Underlying the Chiral‐Induced Selectivity Effect Still Challenging?
The chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect is observed in many experimental configurations and for different materials. However, there are theoretical challenges in attempting to explain those results. A qualitative framework for explaining all the results is presented.

Programmable Stepwise Heteroepitaxial Growth of Colloidal Crystals With Different Phases
Stepwise heteroepitaxial growth is adapted to colloidal crystal engineering with DNA, enabling face‐centered cubic (fcc) facets to grow on body‐centered cubic (bcc) crystals with 110 facets. This approach tolerates large lattice mismatches, extending heteroepitaxy beyond the limits of conventional atomic systems.
