Highly Anisotropic TbCo11Ti: Phase Evolution, Microstructure and Magnetic Properties

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Among the 1:12‐type compounds, TbCo11Ti stands out due to its high Curie temperature and pronounced magnetocrystalline anisotropy. However, its magnetic behavior at room temperature and its phase evolution process have not been clearly established.

Continuous Stress Annealing Enables Ultralow‐Loss Fe‐Based Amorphous Alloys With Superior Magnetic Softness for Industrial Manufacturing

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Fe‐based amorphous alloys are attractive soft magnetic materials for next‐generation power electronics, yet simultaneously achieving high saturation magnetic flux density (Bs), low coercivity (Hc), and low core loss under scalable processing conditions remains challenging.

Dependence of Demagnetization Quality of Ferromagnetic Bodies on Frequency Relationship and Duration of Demagnetization Process

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений и энергетических объединенний СНГ: Энергетика, 2007
Experiments have revealed that demagnetization quality of ferromagnetic bodies depends on characteristics of demagnetizing field that are determined by their size and internal properties.

Subduction Zone Magnetism: The Influence of Metamorphism and Serpentinization in the Mantle Wedge

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Subduction zone magnetic anomalies have previously been used to infer their thermal structure assuming a uniformly serpentinized mantle carries a homogeneous, isotropic magnetization. However, seismic tomography, geological observations and numerical modeling provide increasing evidence for a non‐uniformly serpentinized mantle wedge that may ...

Magnetic Reversals During the Deccan Volcanism: Paleomagnetic Insights From the Pachmarhi Dykes

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract The three main dyke swarms that are linked to the Deccan Continental Flood Basalts are the Nasik‐Pune, Western Coastal, and Narmada‐Satpura‐Tapi (N‐S‐T) swarms. Encompassing approximately 244 mapped basaltic dykes, mainly trending E‐W and positioned along an ancient tectonic zone, the Pachmarhi dyke swarm is situated in the eastern N‐S‐T ...

Comparing Paleointensity Recording Efficiencies of Detrital and Biogenic Magnetite by Deposition Experiments With Synthetic Sediments

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Marine sediments contain magnetic mineral particles of detrital, biogenic and authigenic origin that record changes in the direction and intensity of the geomagnetic field over geological time. Previous studies have demonstrated that the recording efficiencies of detrital and biogenic magnetite differ.

Ion Energization and Acceleration Associated With Foreshock Bubbles: Results From a Hybrid‐Vlasov Simulation and MMS Observations

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Foreshock Bubbles (FBs) are large‐scale transient structures found in Earth's foreshock region and are associated with foreshock‐discontinuity interaction. FBs play a significant role in accelerating and energizing plasma through various mechanisms.

In Situ Cryomodule Demagnetization

open access: yes, 2015
The feasibility of in-situ demagnetization of fully assembled superconducting RF cryomodules is demonstrated. Useful parametric values for demagnetization as well as measured effects on sensitive components within the cryomodule are listed and discussed.
