Frequency dependent load chipping in as a demand side management (DSM) tool-concept and issues

Proceedings of IEEE/IAS International Conference on Industrial Automation and Control, 2002
Load curve shape modification in electric power system is a major demand side management objective, achieved by extensive use of "time of the use" and such other tariffs. This paper describes a different approach to achieve the same objective by adapting concept of "frequency for the use", aided by appropriate tariff strategy.

Connecting research to practice to improve energy demand-side management (DSM)

2010
Exchange of experience between researchers and practitioners is important for arriving at new knowledge that is translatable into practice and at the same time endures in science. This notion has been central in CHANGING BEHAVIOUR, a project aimed at a better understanding of why energy demand-side management (DSM) programmes succeed or fail. Generally,

How to build a Social License for Automated Demand Side Management (DSM) in Switzerland

2022
Global warming requires an energy transition that allows people to consume energy while emit-ting less greenhouse gas emissions. As a result, new issues emerge such as how to motivate people to adopt renewable energies and how the infrastructure will need to adapt to the coming changes in the energy supply.
