Deep demersal fishes in the Canary Islands
2023Some remarks about deep-sea demersal species of fishes captured in fishery prospections from La Gomera, Gran Canaria and Tenerife (Canary Islands) between 300-2500 m depth are given. Long-lines and experimental traps were used during the cruises. Twenty-five species werre collected.

Recent Scottish data on demersal fish selectivity
No abstracts are to be cited without prior reference to the author. The FRS Marine Laboratory has conducted 14 seleciivity cruises in ICES areas IVa and Via over the period 1992 to 1998 using single boat trawls, pair trawls, pair seines and twin trawls. Each individual experiment studied the effect on selectivity of one or more variables describing cod ...Ferro, R. S. T., Graham, G. N.

Demersal fish resources in untrawlable waters, viewed through vertical-line fishing
1977Rocky reefs (80-120 m. in depth) along shoulders of steep continental slope in the South China Sea and the Andaman Sea often provide potentially good fishing grounds. Demersal fish resources in these reefs, having quite different species composition from those in trawl fishing grounds, have been scarcely exploited so far.

Analysis of demersal fish assemblages in selected Philippine fishing grounds [PDF]
This paper presents the results of analyses of demersal fish assemblages in various fishing grounds in the Philippines. Data from exploratory trawl surveys conducted in 1947 - 49 show that the 24 fishing grounds covered by the survey can be arranged along a gradient of substrate type (i.e. relative coral cover and sediment characteristics).
