We provide a qualitative analysis of a system of nonlinear differential equations that model the spread of alcoholism through a population. Alcoholism is viewed as an infectious disease and the model treats it within asirframework. The model exhibits two generic types of steady-state diagram.

Computed tomography scanning confirmed that she had had an acute infarction of the left middle cerebral artery territory. Her past medical history included type 2 diabetes mellitus of 14 years' duration.
