Identifying Influential Nodes Based on Evidence Theory in Complex Network
Influential node identification is an important and hot topic in the field of complex network science. Classical algorithms for identifying influential nodes are typically based on a single attribute of nodes or the simple fusion of a few attributes ...

Navigation risk assessment scheme based on fuzzy Dempster–Shafer evidence theory
In order to reduce the influence of subjective factors on navigation risk assessment, we present a novel scheme based on the fuzzy Dempster–Shafer evidence theory in this article.

A new model for threat assessment in data fusion based on fuzzy evidence theory
In this paper a new method for threat assessment is proposed based on Fuzzy Evidence Theory. The most widely classical and intelligent methods used for threat assessment systems will be Evidence or Dempster Shafer and Fuzzy Sets Theories.

An Evidential Aggregation Method of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets Based on Belief Entropy
Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) are essential in the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) under uncertain environment. However, how to reasonably aggregate them with considering the uncertainty contained in the IFSs is still an open issue.

Uncertainty in Ontologies: Dempster-Shafer Theory for Data Fusion Applications
Nowadays ontologies present a growing interest in Data Fusion applications. As a matter of fact, the ontologies are seen as a semantic tool for describing and reasoning about sensor data, objects, relations and general domain theories.

On The Validity Of Dempster-Shafer Theory
We challenge the validity of Dempster-Shafer Theory by using an emblematic example to show that DS rule produces counter-intuitive result. Further analysis reveals that the result comes from a understanding of evidence pooling which goes against the common expectation of this process.
