AbstractDennstaedtiaceae, a heterogeneous family of ferns with 11 genera and about 270 species, has a global distribution. While substantial progress has been made in elucidating the intergeneric relationships within Dennstaedtiaceae, certain nodes, particularly within Hypolepidoideae, remain controversial.

Eight New Taxa of Hypolepis (Dennstaedtiaceae) from the Neotropics

The taxonomy of bracken ( Pteridium : Dennstaedtiaceae) in Australia

Investigation of Australian bracken ferns in the genus Pteridium (Dennstaedtiaceae) shows that there is one common and widespread species, P. esculentum, found in all States, and a second species, P. revolutum, confined to north-eastern Queensland and the Northern Territory.
