Probing the Distinct Extinction Law of the Pillars of Creation in M16 with JWST
Investigating the extinction law in regions of high dust extinction, such as the Pillars of Creation within the M16 region, is crucial for understanding the densest parts of the interstellar medium (ISM).

FacetClumps: A Facet-based Molecular Clump Detection Algorithm
A comprehensive understanding of molecular clumps is essential for investigating star formation. We present an algorithm for molecular clump detection, called FacetClumps.

Sulfur chemistry in dense interstellar clouds
A model is presented for the gas phase chemistry of molecules containing sulfur in dense interstellar clouds. The sulfur chemistry is different from that used in previous models as a result of an extensive search of the recent literature and the availability of new laboratory data.

Valence Threshold Photoionization Spectra of C5$_5$H and C5$_5$H2$_2$ Isomers
Mass‐selected threshold photoelectron spectra (TPES) of l‐C5H, HC5H, and c–C3H‐CCH were recorded using double‐imaging photoelectron‐photoion coincidence spectroscopy. These transient species were generated in situ by hydrogen abstraction from cyclopropylacetylene and 1,3‐pentadiyne.

The viability of the star count (Wolf) method is assessed as a means of constraining the near-infrared (NIR) extinction law toward the Corona Australis molecular cloud. Using deep JHK _S photometry from the VISIONS survey, extinction maps with 1′ spatial

Prebiotic Organic Chemistry of Diketopiperazines
Diketopiperazines (DKPs) are considered essential in many life forms, but their prebiotic importance has not been fully understood. This review aims to discuss prebiotic organic chemistry for experimentally and computationally simulated reactions involving DKPs. ABSTRACT Even though the significance of amino acids and polypeptides is well recognized in

Interstellar deuterium in cold dense clouds
The mechanism for deuterium fractionation in interstellar clouds is considered within the boundaries of the theory of Dalgarno & Lepp. The abundance of D atoms and fractional ionization in cold clouds are derived from the observational data of molecular ions.

New calculations have been applied to the pyrolysis of pyrrole under shock‐tube conditions and to the radical‐radical reaction between allyl and •CN at low temperature and pressure, using the same mechanistic scheme for both. ABSTRACT The pyrolysis of pyrrole has previously been studied in shock‐tube experiments and in jet‐stirred reactors. The results
