Gastric cancer‐derived exosomal TAGLN2 is identified as a key mediator of vascular reprogramming, with significantly elevated levels detected in patient serum. Independent of canonical SEMA4D signaling, it nucleates a cytoplasmic TAGLN2/NRP1/SEMA4D ternary complex that dually activates YAP, promoting angiogenesis, vascular dysfunction, and metastasis ...

Resonance tuning of two-photon absorption microcavities for wavelength-selective pulse monitoring [PDF]
We show the potential use of a single photodetector for multichannel pulse monitoring. Two-photon absorption in a microcavity structure is used as the nonlinear optical technique for pulse monitoring. Angle tuning of the device allows the resonance to be

Abstract The accurate detection of glucose in wound exudate is critically important for monitoring chronic wound healing. While photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensors are widely used, they often suffer from material degradation caused by redox reactions during operation. Herein, we introduce a dark‐field microscopy (DFM) setup integrated with a PEC system,

Wavelength Assignment in Hybrid Quantum-Classical Networks
Optimal wavelength assignment in dense-wavelength-division-multiplexing (DWDM) systems that integrate both quantum and classical channels is studied. In such systems, weak quantum key distribution (QKD) signals travel alongside intense classical signals ...

Fabrication of High‐Density Multimodal Neural Probes Based on Heterogeneously Integrated CMOS
A chiplet‐based methodology democratizes active neural probe development on standard bulk CMOS services. This yields the first probe combining high‐density electrophysiology (416 electrodes) with calcium imaging (832 photodiodes) and complete on‐chip signal processing across 13 shanks.

Single-Frequency, Narrow-Linewidth Distributed Feedback Waveguide Laser in Al2O3:Er3+ on Silicon [PDF]
A distributed feedback channel waveguide laser in erbium-doped aluminum oxide on a silicon substrate is reported. The optically pumped laser has a threshold pump power of 15 mW and emits 3 mW in single-frequency operation at 1545.2 nm wavelength with a ...

It is currently not well understood how cells regulate basic properties, e.g., volume and mechanics within dense multicellular environments like tumors. Here, we show that different cell types of cancer and also normal cells largely decrease their nuclear and cellular volumes in emerging cell clusters and that this is partly driven by cell cycle shifts.
