Dental development, dental age and tooth counts.
Emergence data on the 20 deciduous teeth and the first 29 permanent teeth were collected from 212 randomly selected urban Swedish children who were followed from birth to 18 years of age. The sex difference in the emergence of the deciduous teeth is less than one month, which is not statistically significant.

Age estimation by using dental radiographs
Estimation of age is important in forensic sciences as a way to establish the identity of human remains. Of the various parts of the body used in age estimation, teeth are the least affected by the taphonomic process. Their durability means that they are sometimes the only body part available for study.

Respiratory Organ‐on‐a‐Chip for Disease Modeling: From Architecture to Functional Integration
Respiratory organ‐on‐a‐chip (ROC) models capture key mechanical and cellular cues of the human respiratory system, enabling quantitative dissection of disease mechanisms. This review links ROC architectures to disease modeling, functional integration, and commercialization, and proposes a decision framework that aligns model complexity with mechanistic
