Preserving the Surface Activity of Lung Surfactant Using Soft Nebulization

open access: yesSmall Science, EarlyView.
This study examines the integrity and surface activity of animal‐derived lung surfactant under different nebulizations. Low‐energy nebulization preserves lamellar structures of the surfactant, enhancing rapid spreading and stability in maintaining low surface tension during interface area changes.
