Abstract Background A number of studies have suggested that there is a need for improved understanding of dento‐maxillofacial cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) technology, and to establish optimized imaging protocols. While several ex vivo/in vitro studies, along with a few in vivo studies, have addressed this topic, virtual imaging trials could ...

Radiological Landmarks as an Aid in the Interpretation of Rodent Skull Extra‐Oral Projections
ABSTRACT Knowledge of the radiographic anatomy of rodent skulls is essential for accurately interpreting extra‐oral radiographs, a non‐invasive diagnostic tool commonly used in veterinary practice. Due to the complexity of the skull and the potential for distortion in two‐dimensional views, a systematic evaluation of anatomical structures is necessary.

Material Decomposed Cargo Imaging with Dual Energy Megavoltage Radiography [PDF]
Cargo imaging with Megavoltage (MV) radiography has important applications for detecting illicit materials. It enables decomposing and quantifying materials with different atomic numbers by imaging cargo at two different x-ray energies, or dual energy (DE) radiography.

ABSTRACT The aim was to compare the effectiveness of acids in removing MTA from root canals. Fifty acrylic blocks were filled with MTA and divided into groups – 10% hydrochloric acid; 10% citric acid; 2% acetic acid; 2% carbonic acid and 20% tartaric acid. MTA was removed with the acids, plus ultrasonic tips and rotary files.
