Effect of suturing in root coverage via coronally advanced flaps: A systematic review
Abstract Background To analyze the evidence about the influence of the suturing technique and material in terms of the percentage of mean root coverage (%MRC) following root coverage therapy in teeth diagnosed with single/localized gingival recession defects (GRD) via a monolaminar coronally advanced flap. Methods The protocol of this systematic review

Masked Latent Transformer with the Random Masking Ratio to Advance the Diagnosis of Dental Fluorosis [PDF]
Dental fluorosis is a chronic disease caused by long-term overconsumption of fluoride, which leads to changes in the appearance of tooth enamel. It is an important basis for early non-invasive diagnosis of endemic fluorosis. However, even dental professionals may not be able to accurately distinguish dental fluorosis and its severity based on tooth ...

Regulation of Dental Enamel Shape and Hardness
Epithelial-mesenchymal interactions guide tooth development through its early stages and establish the morphology of the dentin surface upon which enamel will be deposited. Starting with the onset of amelogenesis beneath the future cusp tips, the shape of the enamel layer covering the crown is determined by five growth parameters: the (1) appositional

Polymerisation Degree and Raman Identification of Ancient Glasses used for Jewellery, Ceramics Enamels and Mosaics [PDF]
We demonstrate the utility of Raman spectroscopy as a technique for the identification of ancient glasses and enamel coatings of ceramics. As for any silicate glasses, the addition of network modifiers breaks the Si-O linkages and modifies the degree of polymerisation and hence the relative intensity of the Si-O bending and stretching modes.
