The pre‐internalization phase of endocytosis remains poorly characterized at single‐cell levels. Single‐cell pre‐internalization mechanics are investigated using advanced robotic techniques. Cancer cells exhibit biphasic adhesion – rapid initial binding followed by reinforcement – while fibroblasts show gradual engagement.

A Tensor Factorization Method for 3D Super-Resolution with Application to Dental CT [PDF]
Available super-resolution techniques for 3D images are either computationally inefficient prior-knowledge-based iterative techniques or deep learning methods which require a large database of known low- and high-resolution image pairs. A recently introduced tensor-factorization-based approach offers a fast solution without the use of known image pairs

A NOVEL IMPRESSION TECHNIQUE FOR FLABBY RIDGE MANAGEMENT IN EDENTULOUS PATIENTS – A CASE REPORT
Patients presenting with flabby or displaceable tissue continue to challenge even the most competent dental practitioners A fibrous or flabby ridge is a superficial area of mobile soft tissue affecting the maxillary or mandibular alveolar ridges.

Exosomes can reduce tissue damage in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA), but rapid clearance limits their efficacy. This study encapsulates exosomes in hyaluronic acid hydrogels for controlled release. In a rat model, hydrogel‐encapsulated exosomes outperform free exosomes in preserving bone integrity and reducing tissue destruction ...

Cone-beam CT for Dental Radiography [PDF]
The cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) technique was first inserted in dental imaging 15 years ago. Due to this technique 3D imaging in dentistry has been excessively changed. The purpose beyond using CBCT instead of computed tomography (CT) imaging is that CT can not be used in many cases in dentistry, in addition to the higher radiation and cost of

Osseointegrated prostheses for rehabilitation following amputation : The pioneering Swedish model. [PDF]
The direct attachment of osseointegrated (OI) prostheses to the skeleton avoids the inherent problems of socket suspension. It also provides physiological weight bearing, improved range of motion in the proximal joint, as well as osseoperceptive sensory ...

Prosthetic Techniques to Increase the Accuracy of Scan Bodies and Influential Factors: A Systematic Review [PDF]
Background: Intraoral scanning is used in digital impression taking. Scan bodies are used for three-dimensional implant scanning. These parts help to accurately transfer the position, location and angle of the implants to the laboratory technician.
