Number of Teeth and Posterior Occlusal Pairs by Sociodemographic Factors in the Finnish Adult Population, Results From the Healthy Finland 2023 Study

In Healthy Finland 2023‐study, edentulism prevalence was 4.2%, mean number of teeth 24.8, and POPs (posterior occlusal pairs) 6.5. POPs and number of teeth had likewise associations with sociodemographic background factors: older age, lower education, lower income, and being widowed were associated with lower number of teeth and POPs.
