Mechanism of Action of Green-Synthesized Silver Nanoparticle-Incorporated Dental Varnish Against Candida albicans

open access: yesCureus
Introduction: Candida albicans, a common fungal pathogen, is often associated with oral infections such as denture stomatitis. Dental varnishes, especially those incorporating antimicrobial agents, have shown promise in preventing C.

Microleakage in fiber-reinforced versus conventional composite restorations

open access: yesDental Research Journal
Background: Composite restorations are prone to hybrid structure degradation and microleakage over time, which causes destruction and discoloration of the restoration’s margins, caries recurrence, postrestoration sensitivity, and pulp irritation.

ROS Activated NETosis of Bone Marrow CD55+ Intermediate Mature Neutrophils Through HIF1α‐PADI4 Pathway to Initiate Bone Aging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, we find CD55+ neutrophils show activated NETosis within bone marrow, induce BMSC senescence and osteogenesis inhibition, finally leading to bone aging initiation. Mechanistically, ROS synergizes with the CD55‐driven HIF1α‐PADI4 pathway to promote NETosis.

Neural Circuits between Nodose Ganglion and Pulmonary Neuroendocrine Cells Regulate Lung Inflammatory Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TRPA1+αCGRP+ sensory neurons in the nodose ganglion detect external insults such as lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and interact directly with pulmonary neuroendocrine cells (PNECs), promoting their activation and proliferation. This neural‐epithelial interaction amplifies lung inflammation.
