This study examined how different occlusal support patterns affect oral function and quality of life in right‐handed elderly denture wearers. This study investigates the criterion validity of the Isometric Contraction Test (ICTest) for the diagnosis of Axis I DC/TMD, with a focus on specific masticatory muscles. The test yielded higher diagnostic accuracy for the masseter and temporalis muscles compared to the medial pterygoid, particularly when assessing the referred myofascial pain subtype.
