The effect of different surface treatments on the shear bond strength of new generation zirconia

Twelve zirconia subgroups were created using different material types and surface treatments. Sandblasting and tribochemical silica coating significantly improved shear bond strength. Bond strength varied based on zirconia type, surface treatment, and their interaction, emphasizing the importance of surface preparation.
