DENTA: A Dual Enzymatic Nanoagent for Self‐Activating Tooth Whitening and Biofilm Disruption

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The nanoapatite with dual enzymes (DENTA) accumulates in dentinal tubules, reducing hypersensitivity caused by dental nerve exposure and facilitating continuous ROS generation through salivary glucose for effective, long‐term whitening. The dentin structures remain non‐destructive due to the low concentration of ROS, demonstrating excellent cell ...

Buckling‐Resistant and Trace‐Stacked (BRATS) Design Enables Aid‐Free Implantation of Flexible Multielectrode Array with Minimized Inflammatory Tissue Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Buckling‐resistant and trace‐stacked (BRATS) intracortical microelectrode arrays (MEAs) eliminate the need for insertion aid and complex surgical setup, resulting in minimal inflammatory tissue response, compared to conventional flexible MEAs inserted with aid. Trace stacking effectively doubled the channel count without increasing the MEA shank width,

Validity and Reliability of the Dental Neglect Scale in German

open access: yesDentistry Journal
Background/Objectives: The Dental Neglect Scale (DNS) is known and used to evaluate and assess adult behaviors and attitudes related to oral self-care and oral-health. In English-speaking countries, the DNS has been used in many studies. At the moment, there is no validated version of the DNS that is available in the German language.

At‐Home Early Diagnosis of Mastitis: Calibration‐Free Analysis of Sodium to Potassium Ratio in Breast Milk

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MAMAWEL is introduced as the first calibration‐free potentiometric sensor for at‐home mastitis diagnosis. By measuring the sodium‐to‐potassium ratio in breast milk, the device reliably differentiates between healthy and mastitis‐affected samples with less than 10% error.
