Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView. This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.Kamila J Bienkowska, Stephany Gallardo, Nur S. FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView. This study explores a liver disease called MASLD, which is increasing worldwide and can lead to serious damage. Researchers used medaka fish instead of rodents to test a food compound, γ‐oryzanol. Fish fed this compound had less liver fat and healthier gut bacteria.Yukako Ito, Haduki Asano, Ayano Ueki, Joe Sakamoto, Yasuhiro Kamei, Hayato Tokumoto, Ayaka Yazawa, Shigeki Kamitani +7 morewiley +1 more sourceFabrication оf Palatal Expanders (Protocol for Dental Thermoforming Technology) [PDF]

Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.Alice Ballerini, Alessia Casarini, Niccolò Biagioli, Laura Mirandola, Daniela Ballotta, Paul Summers, Simona Scolastico, Laura Madrassi, Maurilio Genovese, Marcella Malagoli, Gaetano Cantalupo, Giada Giovannini, Matteo Pugnaghi, Niccolò Orlandi, Laura Tassi, Valeria Cuccarini, Domenico Aquino, Elena Tartara, Fulvia Palesi, Giuseppe Didato, Paolo Vitali, the 3TLE Study Group, Roberta Di Giacomo, Fabio Doniselli, Federica Mazzi, Carlo Andrea Galimberti, Claudia A.
