Unperceivable Designs of Wearable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Unperceivable wearable technologies seamlessly integrate into everyone's daily life, for healthcare and Internet‐of‐Things applications. By remaining completely unnoticed both visually and tactilely, by the user and others, they ensure medical privacy and allow natural social interactions.

Capillary‐Driven 3D Open Fluidic Networks for Versatile Continuous Flow Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The capillary‐driven 3D open fluidic networks (OFNs), composed of connected polyhedral frames, enable precise, programmable, and versatile manipulation of unary, binary, and multiple continuous flows in both spatial and temporal dimensions. OFNs represent a significant leap beyond conventional microfluidics, unlocking new possibilities for selective ...

Hybrid Antibacterial Surfaces: Combining Laser‐Induced Periodic Surface Structures with Polydopamine‐Chitosan‐Silver Nanoparticle Nanocomposite Coating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 12, Issue 6, March 16, 2025.
This study presents a novel hybrid antibacterial surface modification approach, combining LIPSS on Ti with PCA nanocomposite coating. The antibacterial performance of this hybrid surface against Gram‐negative E. coli and Gram‐positive S. aureus exceeds the benchmark performance achieved by either surface modification approach alone.

Geometric Deep Learning for Automated Landmarking of Maxillary Arches on 3D Oral Scans from Newborns with Cleft Lip and Palate [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Rapid advances in 3D model scanning have enabled the mass digitization of dental clay models. However, most clinicians and researchers continue to use manual morphometric analysis methods on these models such as landmarking. This is a significant step in treatment planning for craniomaxillofacial conditions.
