Plaque inhibition by antibacterial dentifrices
European Journal of Oral Sciences, 1970Abstract— The plaque‐inhibiting effect of three commercial toothpastes and three test toothpastes was tested in a series of clinical trials. Cap splint applicators were used to avoid the effect of toothbrushing and the test persons teeth were rinsed with sucrose during the experimental periods to provoke plaque formation.
