ABSTRACT Objective Polyethylene fiber (PF) and fiberglass (FG) posts have been recommended for intraradicular anchorage when there is a significant loss of coronal structure. However, few studies have evaluated their performance in anterior teeth combined with direct restorations as an alternative to single crowns.

Effectiveness of Dentin Bonding Agents
The interface between a composite resin restoration and dentin is still a problem with regard to secondary caries and esthetics. With conventional restorative techniques the absence of bonding between the restorative material and the dentin produces marginal gaps. These gaps are populated with microorganisms or trap pigments.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effect of adding zinc oxide and copper nanoparticles (ZnO/CuNp) into universal adhesives (UAs) on resin–dentin microtensile bond strength (μTBS), nanoleakage (NL), and presence of ZnO/Cu within the hybrid layer on caries‐affected dentin, both at baseline (T0) and after 2 years of water storage (T2).

The fractographic analysis of three dentin bonding agents on tooth surface
The dentin bonding agent is hydrophilic resin that can strongly bind to dentin surface, both in chemical and physical-mechanical ways. The dentin surface is good for the resin bonding when the surface is in moist condition.
