A 28-year-old Caucasian man decreased in weight from 210 pounds to 90 pounds in 5 years. He had iron-deficiency anemia and a chronic urinary tract infection. Clinical examination indicated that edentulous residual ridges had resorbed so that the patient’s dentures were too large.
