SCART: Predicting STT-RAM Cache Retention Times Using Machine Learning [PDF]

open access: yes2019 Tenth International Green and Sustainable Computing Conference (IGSC), Alexandria, VA, USA, 2019, pp. 1-7,
Prior studies have shown that the retention time of the non-volatile spin-transfer torque RAM (STT-RAM) can be relaxed in order to reduce STT-RAM's write energy and latency. However, since different applications may require different retention times, STT-RAM retention times must be critically explored to satisfy various applications' needs.

Treatment of peri‐implantitis with diode laser or mucosal flap surgery: A clinical randomized controlled trial

open access: yesJournal of Periodontology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Peri‐implantitis poses a major challenge as contemporary nonsurgical treatments show dissatisfactory results and mucosal flap surgery is often needed. Diode lasers can remove granulation tissue and submucosal bacteria, and if it achieves similar clinical results, then it could be used as a less invasive first approach.

Numerical simulation of the stress-strain state of the dental system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We present mathematical models, computational algorithms and software, which can be used for prediction of results of prosthetic treatment. More interest issue is biomechanics of the periodontal complex because any prosthesis is accompanied by a risk of overloading the supporting elements.

The validity of teledentistry examinations during the COVID‐19 pandemic in Sydney, Australia

open access: yesAustralian Dental Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Background During the COVID‐19 pandemic, non‐urgent dental treatments were deferred. To identify and prioritize urgent dental patients, teledentistry was implemented across NSW public dental services. Australian dental practitioner attitudes to expanding Medicare to include more dental services

open access: yesAustralian Dental Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Background The exclusion of dentistry from Medicare in Australia means there is limited public funding available to address widespread disparities in access to dental care, which is provided predominantly by private practitioners. The aim of this study was to investigate dental practitioners' attitudes towards expanding Medicare to include ...
