VISUAL NEGOTIATIONS OF GENTRIFICATION IN TORONTO: Contestation, Politicization and Resistance through Urban Signage

Focusing on Toronto, we examine housing‐related signage in three neighbourhoods where social mix approaches to redevelopment have ushered in gentrification: Parkdale, Regent Park, and Moss Park.
