A hierarchy of mildly context sensitive dependency grammar [PDF]
The paper presents Colored Multiplanar Link Grammars (CMLG). These grammars are reducible to extended right-linear S-grammars (Wartena 2001) where the storage type S is a concatenation of c pushdowns.

Non-crossing Dependencies: Least Effort, Not Grammar [PDF]
The use of null hypotheses (in a statistical sense) is common in hard sciences but not in theoretical linguistics. Here the null hypothesis that the low frequency of syntactic dependency crossings is expected by an arbitrary ordering of words is rejected. It is shown that this would require star dependency structures, which are both unrealistic and too

This study highlights the significance of non‐canonical splicing variants in male infertility, a factor often overlooked during the analysis of high‐throughput sequencing data. Incorporating the non‐canonical splicing variants prioritization in the genetic analysis pipeline will increase the genetic diagnosis of patients with male infertility ...

This study identifies Pirin (PIR), an iron‐binding protein, as a critical ferroptosis suppressor in colorectal cancer through lipid membrane remodeling. PIR, induced by NRF2 during ferroptotic stress, transcriptionally regulates PLA2G4A to shift cellular lipid composition away from ferroptosis‐permissive polyunsaturated phospholipids.

Separating Dependency from Constituency in a Tree Rewriting System
In this paper we present a new tree-rewriting formalism called Link-Sharing Tree Adjoining Grammar (LSTAG) which is a variant of synchronous TAGs. Using LSTAG we define an approach towards coordination where linguistic dependency is distinguished from ...

By integrating electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), background‐subtracted in situ Fourier‐transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), this work reveals electrolyte decomposition and the reduced species involved in forming the cathode–electrolyte interphase (CEI) in lithium–sulfur batteries (LSBs), offering ...

Dynamic Decoration of DNA Scaffolds for High‐Resolution Cancer Cell Subtyping
This study presents a dual‐mode imaging platform that utilizes self‐assembly and disassembly of DNA scaffolds for high‐resolution cancer cell detection. The structural rigidity of DNA scaffolds effectively prevents cellular internalization for over 300 min.

This study identifies ferritin as a pivotal mediator of silica‐induced pulmonary fibrosis. Macrophage‐derived ferritin drives fibroblast‐to‐myofibroblast differentiation via the PIK3R2/SMAD pathway, while ferritin knockdown alleviates fibrosis. These findings define ferritin as both a biomarker and pathogenic driver, highlighting ferritin‐PIK3R2 ...
