Partial dependency parsing for Irish [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper we present a partial dependency parser for Irish, in which Constraint Grammar (CG) rules are used to annotate dependency relations and grammatical functions in unrestricted Irish text.

An open source rule induction tool for transfer-based SMT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper we describe an open source tool for automatic induction of transfer rules. Transfer rule induction is carried out on pairs of dependency structures and their node alignment to produce all rules consistent with the node alignment.

Serum Soluble Mediator Signatures of Lupus Nephritis: Histologic Features and Response to Treatment

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Lupus nephritis (LN) management remains challenging, and novel noninvasive biomarkers are needed. This study quantified serum soluble mediators in the Accelerating Medicines Partnership (AMP) LN cohort to identify biomarkers of histologic features and treatment response.

Accuracy of Diagnostic Codes and Algorithms Used to Identify Rheumatoid Arthritis and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in Administrative Claims and Electronic Health Records: Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This systematic review aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of algorithms used to identify rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis in electronic health records. Methods We searched Medline, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register for Controlled Trials databases and included studies that validated case definitions against a ...

The expected sum of edge lengths in planar linearizations of trees

open access: yesJournal of Language Modelling
Dependency trees have proven to be a very successful model to represent the syntactic structure of sentences of human languages. In these structures, vertices are words and edges connect syntacticallydependent words.

Dependently Typed Attribute Grammars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Attribute Grammars (AGs) are a domain-specific language for functional and composable descriptions of tree traversals. Given such a description, it is not immediately clear how to state and prove properties of AGs formally. To meet this challenge, we apply dependent types to AGs.

A Qualitative Analysis of Patient Perspectives and Preferences in Lupus Management to Guide Lupus Guidelines Development

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective A patient‐centered approach for chronic disease management, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), aligns treatment with patients’ values and preferences, leading to improved outcomes. This paper summarizes how patient experiences, perspectives, and priorities informed the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) 2024 Lupus Nephritis (LN)

Response to Allopurinol and Febuxostat According to the Fractional Excretion of Urate in Men With Gout

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Body mass index (BMI), glomerular filtration rate (GFR), and pretreatment urate levels have been reported to influence the urate‐lowering response to allopurinol. We investigated whether the fractional excretion of uric acid (FEUA) also modulates this response and relates to oxypurinol concentrations.

Context-dependent grammars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
This chapter gives an extensive and thorough coverage of grammars that generate languages under various context -related restrictions. First, it covers classical grammars based upon tight context restrictions. Then, it studies context conditional grammars and their variants, including random context grammars, generalized forbidding grammars, semi ...
