MUSA Deployer: Deployment of Multi-cloud Applications

2017 IEEE 26th International Conference on Enabling Technologies: Infrastructure for Collaborative Enterprises (WETICE), 2017
The development of applications based on services offered by different, not conscious, providers, is expected to be growing in the next years. In order to offer effectively multicloud applications, many challenges still need to be faced. At this aim, the MUSA framework provides a DevOps approach to develop multi-cloud applications with desired Security

Deployment pattern

Proceedings of the 18th Conference on Pattern Languages of Programs, 2011
Software that is deployed into the market needs to be continuously evolved. In order to be long-running, it is necessary to incorporate new client requirements throughout the lifetime of the product. Professional Software Deployment is essential for software evolution, and many vendors therefore provide deployment applications.

Development and Deployment at Facebook

IEEE Internet Computing, 2013
Internet companies such as Facebook operate in a "perpetual development" mindset. This means that the website continues to undergo development with no predefined final objective, and that new developments are deployed so that users can enjoy them as soon as they're ready.

Deployments

2021
Reconsidering Douglass’s legacy at the beginning of the twenty-first century reveals his contested iconicity. In the 1960s, Angela Davis read Douglass as a model for Black liberation, and fifty years later, Christopher Lebron posited him as a historical antecedent for the contemporary activism of Black Lives Matter.

The challenge of deployment

Proceedings of the 2013 ACM MobiCom workshop on Lowest cost denominator networking for universal access, 2013
Deploying a low-cost network in the field is not just a technological challenge, but an exercise in the introduction of technology in a particular social, cultural, and economic context. As designers, we are all too focussed on the technical aspects of the problem, but we ignore these other contexts at our peril, because these ultimately determine ...

P3P deployment on websites

Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, 2008
We studied the deployment of computer-readable privacy policies encoded using the standard W3C Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P) format to inform questions about P3P’s usefulness to end users and researchers. We found that P3P adoption is increasing overall and that P3P adoption rates greatly vary across industries.

Deployment of a Hierarchical Middleware

2010
Accessing the power of distributed resources can nowadays easily be done using a middleware based on a client/server approach. Several architectures exist for those middleware. The most scalable ones rely on a hierarchical design. Determining the best shape for the hierarchy, the one giving the best throughput of services, is not an easy task. We first

Deployment

Abstract Discusses deployment under visual input, drawing on Pylyshyn’s theory of visual indices (FINSTs, fingers of instantiation). Cancellation of input that triggered a file can avoid deployment of coreferential files. Where it fails, recognition requires consolidation of coreferential files.
