Effect of Bit Depth on Cloud Segmentation of Remote-Sensing Images
Due to the cloud coverage of remote-sensing images, the ground object information will be attenuated or even lost, and the texture and spectral information of the image will be changed at the same time.

The effects of stereoscopic depth on completion [PDF]
Stereoscopic depth has a critical effect on completion of partially occluded figures. However, it has not strictly been distinguished whether the effect is direct or indirect through alteration of contour segmentation or parsing. Here, I report that stereoscopic depth does not influence completion of partially occluded figures when parsing is ...

Effect of tramadol on depth of anaesthesia
We have studied 51 patients who were anaesthetized with propofol and suxamethonium followed by 0.7% isoflurane and 66% nitrous oxide in oxygen to see if tramadol caused lightening of anaesthesia. A two-channel EEG was recorded and music was played via headphones. Two groups received tramadol 200 and 100 mg i.v.

Domain Adaptation and Adaptive Information Fusion for Object Detection on Foggy Days
Foggy days pose many difficulties for outdoor camera surveillance systems. On foggy days, the optical attenuation and scattering effects of the medium significantly distort and degenerate the scene radiation, making it noisy and indistinguishable. Aiming

Depth perception with gaze-contingent depth of field
Blur in images can create the sensation of depth because it emulates an optical property of the eye; namely, the limited depth of field created by the eye's lens. When the human eye looks at an object, this object appears sharp on the retina, but objects

Study on the Effect of Installation Depth of Pipe on Scour Depth Under the River Crossing Pipeline in Unsteady Flow [PDF]
Water and other fluid pipes that are placed on the seabed and rivers bed change the flow pattern around them. These changes increase the shear stress of the bed and the severity of turbulence around the pipe and create a scouring hole under the pipe. The
