On design of circuits of logarithmic depth for inversion in finite fields

Discrete Mathematics and Applications, 2008
We suggest a method of realisation of inversion over the standard bases of finite fields \(\text{GF}(p^n)\) by means of circuits over \(\text{GF}(p)\) of complexity and depth , where \(\varepsilon > 0\), and \(w < 1.667\) is the exponent of multiplication of \(\sqrt n\times\sqrt n\) and \(\sqrt n\times n\) matrices. A Tool for Analysing Depth Resolution in Potential-field Inversion

Proceedings, 2013
A careful management of the ambiguities and errors in potential field inversion is crucial for obtaining reliable information about the source distribution with respect to depth. In this paper we introduce a tool, the ApproxDRP, which is based on an approximation of the singular vectors obtained by the iterative Lanczos bidiagonalization algorithm ...

AVO inversion on depth migrated traces

SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2001, 2001
It is generally recognized that avo inversion is better conducted on depth migrated traces, although it is not often done because of computational costs and the fact that it may provide only marginal improvement in regions of low dip and small lateral velocity gradients.

Q-factor Inversion for Depth Migration

19th Congress of the Brazilian Geophysical Society - Proceedings
The current new exploratory frontier in Brazil is the Equatorial Margin. Apart from the velocity building challenges represented by paleo-canions with velocity inversions, strongly structured carbonate platforms, gravitational cells with compressive components giving rise to overthrusts, mud volcanoes etc., there are shallow gas accumulations that ...
