Time‐lapse applications of the Marchenko method on the Troll field

open access: yesGeophysical Prospecting, Volume 72, Issue 3, Page 1026-1036, March 2024.
Abstract The data‐driven Marchenko method is able to redatum wavefields to arbitrary locations in the subsurface, and can, therefore, be used to isolate zones of specific interest. This creates a new reflection response of the target zone without interference from over‐ or underburden reflectors.

Segmentation‐enhanced gamma spectrum denoising based on deep learning

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 18, Issue 1, Page 63-80, January 2024.
This paper proposes a segmentation‐enhanced convolutional neural network‐stacked denoising autoencoder (CNN‐SDAE) method based on convolutional feature extraction network and stacked denoising autoencoder to achieve gamma spectrum denoising, which adopts the idea of data segmentation to enhance the learning ability of the neural network.

Inverse Filtering for Speech Dereverberation Less Sensitive to Noise and Room Transfer Function Fluctuations

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2007
Inverse filtering of room transfer functions (RTFs) is considered an attractive approach for speech dereverberation given that the time invariance assumption of the used RTFs holds.

An online algorithm for echo cancellation, dereverberation and noise reduction based on a Kalman-EM Method

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Audio, Speech, and Music Processing, 2021
Many modern smart devices are equipped with a microphone array and a loudspeaker (or are able to connect to one). Acoustic echo cancellation algorithms, specifically their multi-microphone variants, are essential components in such devices.

Inverse Filtering and Principal Component Analysis Techniques for Speech Dereverberation

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2016
In this work, we present a single channel approach for early and late reverberation suppression. This approach can be decomposed into two stages. The first stage employs the inverse filter to augment the signal-to-reverberant energy ratio.

Low Delay Noise Reduction and Dereverberation for Hearing Aids

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2009
A new system for single-channel speech enhancement is proposed which achieves a joint suppression of late reverberant speech and background noise with a low signal delay and low computational complexity.

Improving the conditioning of the optimization criterion in acoustic multi-channel equalization using shorter reshaping filters

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2018
In acoustic multi-channel equalization techniques, such as complete multi-channel equalization based on the multiple-input/output inverse theorem (MINT), relaxed multi-channel least-squares (RMCLS), and partial multi-channel equalization based on MINT ...

Underwater Reverberation Suppression Using Wavelet Transform and Complementary Learning

open access: yesOceans
Reverberation is the primary interference of active detection. Therefore, the effective suppression of reverberation is a prerequisite for reliable signal processing.
