Some identities involving multiplicative generalized derivations in orime and semiprime rings
Let $R$ be a ring with center $Z(R)$. A mapping $F:R\rightarrow R$ is called a multiplicative generalized derivation, if $F(xy)=F(x)y+xg(y)$ is fulfilled for all $x,y\in R$, where $g:R\rightarrow R$ is a derivation.

Derivations, derivatives and chain rules
AbstractFor a smooth function f on the space of bounded operators in a Hilbert space, we obtain formulas for the nth order commutator [[[f(A),X],X],…,X] in terms of the Fréchet derivatives Dmf(A). We illustrate the use of these formulas in obtaining bounds for norms of generalised commutators f(A)X−Xf(B) and their higher order analogues.

Higher Jordan triple derivations on ∗-type trivial extension algebras
In this paper, we investigated the problem of describing the form of higher Jordan triple derivations on trivial extension algebras. We show that every higher Jordan triple derivation on a $ 2 $-torsion free $ * $-type trivial extension algebra is a sum ...

On the derivations of cyclic Leibniz algebras
Let $L$ be an algebra over a field $F$. Then $L$ is called a left Leibniz algebra, if its multiplication operation $[-,-]$ additionally satisfies the so-called left Leibniz identity: $[[a,b],c]=[a,[b,c]]-[b,[a,c]]$ for all elements $a,b,c\in L$. A linear

The intrinsic complexity of the financial derivatives market has emerged as both an incentive to engage in it, and a key source of its inherent instability. Regulators now faced with the challenge of taming this beast may find inspiration in the budding science of complex systems.

Jordan-Hölder theorems for derived categories of derived discrete algebras [PDF]
For any positive integer $n$, $n$-derived-simple derived discrete algebras are classified up to derived equivalence. Furthermore, the Jordan-H\"older theorems for all kinds of derived categories of derived discrete algebras are obtained.

Characterization of ternary derivation of strongly double triangle subspace lattice algebras
Let $ \mathcal{D} $ be a strongly double triangle subspace lattice on a nonzero complex reflexive Banach space. In this paper, we characterize the linear maps $ \delta, \tau $: $ {\rm{Alg}}\mathcal{D}\to {\rm{Alg}}\mathcal{D} $ satisfying $ \delta(A)B+A\

Derivation of completely cell culture-derived mice from early-passage embryonic stem cells.
Several newly generated mouse embryonic stem (ES) cell lines were tested for their ability to produce completely ES cell-derived mice at early passage numbers by ES cell tetraploid embryo aggregation.

New personal names from the point of view of derivation and semantics
The paper discusses the results of a pilot study into derivational patterns and semantics of some neologisms referring to persons given in the Database of Lithuanian Neologisms (further also DLN). The research focused on nouns ending in -tojas, -a, -ėjas,
