An Identity Related to Derivations of Standard Operator Algebras and Semisimple H*-Algebra¹

open access: yesCubo, 2010
In this paper we prove the following result. Let X be a real or complex Banach space, let L (X) be the algebra of all bounded linear operators on X, and let be a standard operator algebra. Suppose is a linear mapping satisfying the relation .

Apollonios de Rhodes et le vocabulaire homérique : les verbes en -ιάω et les verbes en -άω à vocalisme ō

open access: yesAitia, 2020
It is a well-known fact that Apollonius Rhodius’ vocabulary relies heavily, although not solely, on Homeric material. How he uses the words he borrows from Homer, however, has not been studied yet.

Rules and derivations in an elementary logic course [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
When teaching an elementary logic course to students who have a general scientific background but have never been exposed to logic, we have to face the problem that the notions of deduction rule and of derivation are completely new to them, and are ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Characterization generalized derivations of tensor products of nonassociative algebras

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
Consider A{\mathcal{A}} and ℬ{\mathcal{ {\mathcal B} }} to be nonassociative unital algebras. Under the assumption that either one of them has finite dimensions or that both are finite dimensions, a generalized derivation is an additive map ℱ:A→A ...

Generalized Projective product of semi-rings

open access: yesWasit Journal of Computer and Mathematics Science
The concept of Differential algebra has been played an influential role in various directions of abstract algebra. This notation has been considered before fifty years ago with semi-ring and several types of rings.

Lexicalización en los indefinidos latinos. Tālis como base léxica

open access: yesPallas, 2017
Dans cette contribution nous analysons l’expression phraséologique, lexicale et grammaticale de quelques indéfinis. Cependant, nous nous intéressons non pas à la grammaticalisation des unités phraséologiques ou lexicales dans la formation des expressions

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Derived Brackets [PDF]

open access: yesLetters in Mathematical Physics, 2004
We survey the many instances of derived bracket construction in differential geometry, Lie algebroid and Courant algebroid theories, and their properties. We recall and compare the constructions of Buttin and Vinogradov, and we prove that the Vinogradov bracket is the skew-symmetrization of a derived bracket.
