In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

The Arbitrage Pricing Model: A Pedagogic Derivation and a Spreadsheet-Based Illustration [PDF]
This paper derives, from a pedagogic perspective, the Arbitrage Pricing Model, which is an important asset pricing model in modern finance. The derivation is based on the idea that, if a self-financed investment has no risk exposures, the payoff from the

Composition of generalized derivations as a Lie derivation
Let R be a prime ring of characteristic different from 2, U the Utumi quotient ring of R, C the extended centroid of R, F and G non-zero generalized derivations of R. If the composition (FG) acts as a Lie derivation on R, then (FG) is a derivation of R and one of the following holds: there exist α C and a U such that F(x)=[a,x] and G(x)=α x, for all x ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Division composition algebras through their derivation algebras [PDF]
Composition algebras are algebras with a nondegenerate quadratic multiplicative form. In this paper we construct five families of division composition algebras and prove that any division composition algebra with nonabelian derivation algebra belongs to ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

LEXICALIZATION IN MORPHOLOGY: A CASE STUDY OF THE ANTICAUSATIVE PREFIX IN TAQBAYLIT BERBER [PDF]
What makes lexicalization an intriguing topic in morphology? It is not so much the semantic mismatch between a base and its ‘derived’ form, but the question of how lexicalization is underlyingly represented.

Local derivations on $C^*$-algebras are derivations [PDF]
A local derivation \(T\) from a \(C^*\)-algebra \(\mathfrak A\) into a Banach bimodule \({\mathfrak X}\) (i.e., a continuous operator \(T:{\mathfrak A}\to{\mathfrak X}\) s.t. for any \(a\in{\mathfrak A}\) there is a derivation \(D_a\) from \({\mathfrak A}\) to \({\mathfrak X}\) with \(D_a(a)=T(a)\)) is actually a derivation. For von Neumann algebras \({
