The Relation Between Gorenstein Derived and Pure Derived Categories

Bulletin of the Iranian Mathematical Society, 2022
The authors study the relation between Gorenstein derived and pure derived categories under some conditions, and also study the relation between Gorenstein singularity and pure singularity categories. Moreover, they describe the bounded Gorenstein derived category by pure projective modules, under a fairly strong assumption on the ring.

A thermodynamic derivation of the reciprocal relations

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2013
Starting with the continuity and Smoluchowski equations, we write the mass flux for a system out of equilibrium in terms of the physicochemical potential μg. μg is a coarse-grained analog of the chemical potential in the presence of forces that drive the system out of equilibrium.

Programmed derivations of relational structures

2005
Derivations of relational structures by applying productions are considered. The corresponding concepts are taken from the existing algebraic (category theory) approach to transformations of relational structures. An idea of programs for defining sets of derivations is introduced. A number of programming constructs is introduced to specify applications

Amphetamine derivative related deaths

Forensic Science International, 1997
Amphetamine its methylendioxy (methylendioxyamphetamine methylenedioxymethylamphetamine, methylenedioxyethylamphetamine) and methoxy derivatives (p-methoxyamphetamine and p-methoxymethylamphetamine) are widely abused in Spanish society. We present here the results of a systematic study of all cases of deaths brought to the attention of the Madrid ...

Extension of relational views to derived relations with exceptions

Information Systems, 1990
Abstract This paper extends the concept of relational views by allowing exceptions to view definitions via a new construct called derived relations with exceptions (DREs). DREs are a superset of relational views that provides greater capabilities for representing general rules, dealing with exceptional cases and manipulating hypothetical databases ...

On binary operators and their derived relations

BIT, 1988
Considering a list of abstract binary operations and relations, the author gives a sequence of seven simple to prove, but interesting and very useful theorems, which appear frequently in algebra and other fields. All results are known, but the approach is nice and appropriate for teaching, with a good generality.

Flavone and xanthone derivatives related to fluoroquinolones

Il Farmaco, 1999
A number of flavone and xanthone derivatives bearing some characteristic features of fluoroquinolones such as the fluorine atom and an ortho piperazine ring are described. The new compounds have been tested for possible cytotoxic and antimicrobial activities.

Derivations of Onsager’s Reciprocal Relations

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1954
Two derivations of Onsager's reciprocal relations are presented in simplified form, and the range of their validity is discussed.
