Effectiveness of Skin Protection Measures Among Hairdressing Apprentices in Croatia: Results of a Follow‐Up Study

A positive effect of protective measures on skin barrier function and prevention of hand eczema was observed during the first 2 years of hairdressing education. Insufficient implementation of protective measures from the beginning of education results in their late implementation at the secondary prevention level.
