Neurodevelopmental Phenotypes and Brain Anomalies in Individuals With Heterozygous SEMA6A Variants

SEMA6A plays a role in cell migration and axon guidance in the developing central nervous system. Phenotypes seen in eleven individuals heterozygous for SEMA6A variants included developmental delay, intellectual disability, autism/autistic behaviors, behavioral abnormalities, attention disorders, hypotonia, and brain anomalies.

Glove Reuse Limits in Hair Dyeing: Permeation of p‐Phenylenediamine and Aminophenols Through Natural Rubber Latex and Neoprene After Repeated Washing

Disposable glove reuse reduced chemical protection during repeated hair‐dye exposure. Under ASTM F739 testing, natural‐rubber‐latex deteriorated rapidly after one reuse, whereas neoprene performed better initially but also declined over repeated cycles. Wash type had no significant effect. These findings support single‐use only and discourage the reuse

Chromium and Cobalt in Used Leather Items: A Danish Market Survey

Used leather items from the Danish second‐hand market frequently release chromium(VI) and, in some cases, cobalt. Some items exceed current EU limits, highlighting a persistent but underrecognised source of exposure in the circular economy that may contribute to ongoing contact allergy despite existing regulations.

Contact Sensitisation Trends in Slovenian Children and Adolescents: A Retrospective Single‐Centre Study

Nickel sensitisation in children decreased significantly over time, while dyes and isothiazolinones are emerging allergens. These findings underscore shifting exposure patterns and the need for continuous surveillance to guide effective patch testing and prevention strategies.
