Chinese lacquer tree (Toxicodendron vernicifluum) is an important commercial arbor species widely cultivated in East Asia for producing highly durable lacquer. Here, we sequenced and analyzed the complete chloroplast (cp) genome of T. vernicifluum and reconstructed the phylogeny of Sapindales based on 52 cp genomes of six families.

Irritant or allergic contact dermatitis usually presents as an eczematous process, clinically characterized by erythematoedematovesicous lesions with intense itching in the acute phase. Such manifestations become erythematous‐scaly as the condition progresses to the subacute phase and papular‐hyperkeratotic in the chronic phase.

Abstract A 14‐year‐old boy developed an erythema multiforme‐like reaction following Toxicodendron radicans (poison ivy) allergic contact dermatitis three separate times over the course of 3 years. The severity of each erythema multiforme‐like reaction corresponded to the severity of the allergic contact dermatitis which preceded it.
